Hathor is one of the most revered and multifaceted deities in ancient Egyptian mythology, embodying the principles of love, beauty, fertility, music, and motherhood. She is depicted as a woman with the ears of a cow or as a full cow, symbolizing her nurturing and fertile qualities, as well as her connection to the heavens and the earth.

She was believed to protect and nurture the pharaoh in his earthly reign, as well as guide his soul in the afterlife. Hathor was also associated with the goddess Isis, forming a powerful divine triad alongside Osiris, the god of the afterlife.
