This icon depicts the image of the Eye of Heru, gilded in gold, as a symbol of the Egyptian Neter, or god, Heru.  This eye represents the Solar Principle and a protective force.

The Eye of Heru is mounted on a background of Sandstone, like the temples of Egypt, with the symbol of the Ankh above and below.
