This Icon depicts the image of Sesheshen/Lotus, Nymphaea caerulea, the sacred flower of enlightenment, connection to the divine, and blossoming consciousness.

Shesheshen is mounted on a background of thick mud, from which she rises through the murky waters of the lake.  Around her are rays of light, shooting Ankhs (life) in all directions.
