Christmas Cactus is a tropical cactus species native to the coastal mountains of south-eastern Brazil.

Christmas Cactus, sometimes referred to as "Crab Cactus," is ruled by Venus and Libra.  This bright and lively ally blooms in the fall throughout November and December, bringing light to the darkness.  Christmas Cactus allows us to release survival energy in the root chakra by tending to forgiveness of the self, open up and purify the heart space, and bring clarity to the third eye so that we may learn to trust our intuition and inner guidance.
